Gixtra has two different calendar features. They sound similar, but they work in opposite directions.
The first feature sends your Gixtra gigs to your personal calendar. This is the calendar sync or calendar feed.
The second feature brings your availability from your private calendar into Gixtra. This helps Gixtra warn bookers when you may not be available on a certain date.
In short:
- Gixtra -> your calendar: Your gigs appear in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, or another calendar app.
- Your calendar -> Gixtra: Gixtra can see when you are marked as busy and warn bookers before they invite you to a gig.
Both features help reduce manual work, avoid unnecessary follow-ups, and keep calendars cleaner.
